YBAA U 2026 takes place on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the stunning Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island — a world-class maritime venue dedicated to the history of yachting and America's Cup racing. With over 70 historic boats on display and a beautiful waterfront campus, it's the kind of setting that reminds us all why we love this industry.
What to Expect
YBAA University is our annual full-day educational conference designed to sharpen your professional edge and deepen your industry connections. The 2026 program features a full day of educational sessions, business presentations, technology discussions, and panel discussions covering the issues and trends shaping yacht brokerage today.
Full-day attendees earn 7 CPYB recertification credits — and the program is an excellent way to prepare for the CPYB exam if certification is on your horizon.
The day before, on Tuesday, July 14, kick things off at the Welcome Networking Reception (5:00–7:00 pm) — a relaxed evening to reconnect with colleagues and meet new ones before the main event.

About the Venue
The Herreshoff Marine Museum has been a cornerstone of maritime heritage since 1971. Its campus spans historic company buildings, a family homestead, and a working waterfront marina. During the lunch break, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the museum's remarkable collection — including restored vessels you can step aboard and the famous Nathanael Greene Herreshoff Model Room, home to 500 design models.
It's not just a conference. It's an experience.
